Admit it, we all have those times that we feel lazy and don’t feel like doing anything at all. Especially if we are working from home with our pajamas all the way. It’s normal, but we have to overcome this laziness at all cost or we’re losing it.

Here are some tips on how you can stay focus and be productive all day, even if you feel like being lazy.

  1. Start your day by being fresh

Even if we are working from home, avoid working while still in your pajamas. Working with your pajamas will decrease your energy to work. You’ll only want to go back to your bed instead. Take a shower and have your breakfast before starting to do your job.

  1. Create a to-do list for your everyday routine

Plan your day. Have a to-do-list for your entire day activity. Even include your breakfast in your list. Tick off each task you’ve done; this will give you the insight how your productivity goes for the day. It would be much better to know your priority tasks or urgent tasks that need to get done first. Break down the large tasks to smaller ones, so you feel motivated on your progress. Stick to one task at a time.

  1. Give yourself a reward

It will also keep you motivated when you give yourself a reward once you’ve done a particular task; especially for a complicated task you accomplished.

  1. Set deadlines

Setting deadlines will give you more motivation to do your task. I’m not sure about you, but this one helps me a lot to get on focus on accomplishing my to-do list. I keep asking my client to add deadlines to the tasks, and sometimes, I do it myself.

  1. Know your habits

If you are an early bird, get done the most important task over the morning or during the day. If you are a night owl, do not stress yourself working during the day, unless it would be necessary to do so. Know your strength and use it to your advantage.

  1. Do not over-schedule and be realistic

In the number four, I said that setting deadlines would give you more motivation. However, be realistic. Having so many things to get done in a single day, will just make you feel overwhelmed.

  1. Give yourself a break

Do not force yourself to work for 4 hours straight. Have a 15 mins break in at least every 3 hours to refresh. Meditation will also help you calm yourself and reenergize and proceed on working.


At the end of the day, it is still our lose if we don’t do things we must get done for the day. So it is crucial to get our butt up we don’t want to get behind with our tasks.
